A 29-year-old patient, T Barman, approached me to discuss his personal issue related to sex. He experienced left-sided curvature of the penis during erection and a lump on the left lateral side of the penis for six months. He also experienced discomfort in his organ when it was erect. On November 20, 2001, he visited my clinic because he was experiencing trouble with penile penetration during intercourse caused by the curvature of his organ. He experienced dizziness and discomfort in the lower back area. He underwent standard treatment but found no relief, so he opted to explore homeopathy. I discovered additional symptoms that aid in choosing homeopathic medicine, which are as follows:
- He disliked taking baths. In fact, he feared bathing even during the summer.
- He bathed once or twice each week.
- He was afraid of ghosts at night and also feared burglars when he got up at midnight.
- He dreamed of pollution and love.
Those signs pointed solely to sulphur.
He exhibited additional symptoms, such as:
- A strong craving for sweets and hot meals.
- He couldn’t tolerate standing for long, as it was his most uncomfortable position.
- He was unable to endure the sun’s heat.
Prescription overview:
November 20, 2001: Sulphur 200/4 doses two times a day for 2 days, then Sac lac 200 for 1 month.
December 22, 2001: The patient did not improve, so I prescribed Sulphur 1m/4 doses two times daily for 2 days, then continued with sac lac 1m for another 1 month.
February 2, 2002: He felt a bit better, but I noticed no real improvement, so I took the medication again in the next higher potency Sulphur 10m/4 doses daily for two days, followed by placebo for one month.
April 16, 2002: He came with a broad smile and mentioned that he experienced an 80% improvement after the previous medication, so I recommended just a placebo for the next month. During later visits, the patient experienced no issues whatsoever. He carried on with his treatment until September 2002, during which time I administered the remedy sulphur 10m/2 doses again on 24th July 2002, hoping that the illness would not come back. Following that, no other medications were required; only a placebo was given for an additional two months. Since that time, he has been living a normal life.
