A CASE OF CONVULSION

Aliyara Khatun, an eleven-year-old girl, was brought to me by her parents on September 24, 2016 due to her recurring convulsions. She experienced regular episodes of stomach pains, dyspnoea, and convulsions twice or three times a week for two weeks. When the issues started, she had to be admitted to the hospital. The doctor on duty at the local hospital recommended that they refer her to a neurologist for improved treatment. However, the parents chose to try homeopathy based on recommendations from friends, prompting them to visit my clinic.
I enquired whether she experienced any symptoms right before the convulsion, and she responded as though she was chewing something, and then felt abdominal discomfort, but she couldn’t remember what followed after. The synthesis repertory identified one remedy, specifically ‘general convulsion- epileptic- aura, teeth grinding of: sulphur.’ I administered sulphur in 30/6 doses t.i.d. for 2 days, then provided sac lac for 7 days, which completely cured her and she has experienced no such issues since taking the first dose of the prescribed medicine.
