A patient named Ms. Khatun, 48 years old, visited my clinic on June 4, 2009, reporting abdominal pain for 8 to 9 years. She experienced recurring abdominal pain, had difficulties digesting food, and her weight had dropped to 33 kg. Due to severe pain issues, she required hospitalization 5 to 6 times in a year. She was unable to endure pain. She consistently urged her husband to take her to the hospital whenever she felt pain. Only intravenous fluids and pain-relieving medications were provided in the hospital, and no food was given orally to ease the pancreas. Intense discomfort in the upper abdomen caused her to eat very little food, even during the chronic phase. Regardless of the quantity she consumed, she preferred cold and salty dishes. She also had a desire for meat. However, she was advised to avoid all rich foods, meats, and spicy dishes due to her pancreatic issue.
The discomfort used to worsen eating or drinking, accompanied by nausea and vomiting. The woman experienced discomfort in her back as well. Her stool was oily.
She received treatments for 8 years at various hospitals; some doctors feared that over time it could develop into cancer.
Her ultrasound showed a recurrence of pancreatitis in the body and tail of the pancreas. The blood profile showed the following results:
- Amylase: 2300
- Lipase: 2800
- CEA: 6.76
- CA 19.9 – 4.99
- Hemoglobin: 11.6
- Neutrophil: 44
- Eosinophil: 14
- Lymphocyte: 38
- Monocyte: 4
- ESR: 32.

On June 4, 2009, I recommended Phosphorus 30/6 doses along with a placebo for two weeks. However, the patient group came to me the next day since the pain remained unchanged. So, I gave 10 doses of Nihilinum to be taken every 3 hours.
On June 18, 2009, the patient reported a 25% improvement, so I recommended Nihilinum for a duration of 14 days. Thus, I recommended Nihilinum until August 8, 2009, since the patient showed significant improvement.
August 22, 2009: Once again I recommended Phosphorus 30/6 doses alongside Nihilinum for 2 weeks. I maintained her treatment until February 4, 2010, and only phosphorus completely healed her; no additional medication was required.
I reached out to her by phone lately, and she is doing well.
