Zinnur Alam, 42 years old, visited our clinic on February 24, 2011, suffering from intense pain, stiffness, numbness, and weakness in both legs for an extended period. He experiences lower back pain that extends to both legs when walking. He could barely walk when he initially arrived at our clinic.
His MRI report on January 20, 2011 indicates:
- L5 S1 disc rt paracentral transligamentous extrusion causing spinal canal stenosis and bilateral neural compression
- L4 L5 disc protrusion resulting in spinal canal stenosis.
NCV indicates:
- Bilateral S1 Radiculopathy.
He stands tall at 5 feet 10 inches, with a recorded weight of 96 kg. His homeopathic symptoms suggested Calcarea carb upon repertorization. I recommended Calcarea carb in 30/6 doses, then rubrum 30 in globules to be taken for a month. Following that prescription, he displayed some progress, so I repeated it after a lengthy period following homeopathic principles. In certain cases, I must administer Lycopodium, sulphur, and belladonna based on the similarity of symptoms. He was in my care for a minimum of 2 years straight and experienced no pain after that. Last year, on May 29, 2017, he came to my clinic for mild lower back pain, and I prescribed the same medication, calc carb 30. I have frequent communication with him, and he has been doing well.
